The story really started on the 6/9/2010 when I discovered I was pregnant with summer! The pregnancy went smoothly apart from having low blood pressure and SPD!
On the 31st March 2011 I started having contractions at 6.30ish while I was eating dinner!!
Eventually went to the hospital at 10.30 when my contractions were 3minutes apart. Was put straight on gas n air and when I was examined at 11 I was 2-3cm dilated. However because I had SPD they didn't send me home.
Eventually got to 2am and I kept saying I wanted to push. Was examined and was told I was 8cm and couldn't have an epidural or anything else. Up to this point my waters hadn't gone and it got to 2.15 and the midwife was going to pop them when they popped on their own! I kept pushing until eventually my gorgeous little girl arrived at 2.46am! Had skin to skin contact straight away and I couldn't have been happier!
